December Newsletter 2018
Our spring musical Anything Goes will be performed on April 10-13.
Rehearsals start on Wednesday January 9 at 7.30pm with a night for everyone.
The chorus is open to adults and anyone aged 14 and above, and there are two or three small speaking parts still available.
Let’s start raising interest now amongst family, friends and the public!
We are currently due to renew our First Aid qualifications – this is done over 2 nights at the hut. If you are over 18 and interested in getting involved please get in touch.
Our Youth Theatre is recruiting new members for the regular Tuesday 7-9pm sessions restarting on January 8.
There’ll be the usual mix of games, improv and drama activities to build confidence, teamwork and theatre skills.
If you know anyone aged eight and above who might be interested, get their parents to contact David Knights on 07768 964110 or email
Due to popular demand the venue for our New Year meal and quiz on January 11 has been changed from Zolsha’s to the Dog and Gun in Glusburn.
If you haven’t already signed up then contact Emma Jayne on 07432456475 or through Facebook to reserve your place.
Annual subs are due January 1:
Students and seniors £15,
Under 16’s £10.
Michelle will be collecting money at rehearsals, if you would prefer to pay by transfer please get in touch and we will send you the account details.
Forthcoming shows for 2019:

Goldilocks and the Three Bears, December 4-7.
Keep an eye out for further details
Our Bags2School collection last month raised £168, thanks to everyone who donated. Our next collection will be in July.
Each year we have the pleasure of presenting members with their NODA long-service awards. To qualify members must have a minimum of 10 years’ involvement in amateur theatre from age 11 upwards.
Members need to fill-in an application form themselves and provide details of the shows they’ve been involved in. A form is attached, and paper copies are available from the hut.
